Hurricane Heyman Part 2: We Drink

Hunter Valley is only about 2.5 hours away from Sydney so we decided to take a little escape from city life and relax in wine country. Little did I know when I rented a car that nobody else was willing to drive and I had to drive on the other side of the road in the dark. Those that know me well understand why this situation is so funny and ridiculous! The freeway wasn't that bad as it's all one way but driving in the city and in the country was definitely a challenge. The windshield wipers kept going off instead of the turn signals, the mirrors were in different places and I struggled to turn into the right lane. Luckily there was only one wild kangaroo siting and we made it to Pokolbin in one piece. All worked out- the apt was cute & comfy, the wine delicious and the scenery beautiful! I would definitely say it was worth the trip although I am not rushing to drive in Australia anytime soon! Here are some of the pictures from our stay.
